Fortnite's Festival mode receives eight new music tracks on March 14, including Darude's Sandstorm, DMX's X Gon' Give It To Ya, and other recognizable songs. Fortnite Festival's Season 2 began last month and runs until April 22.
In celebration of Season 2, Fortnite Festival introduced Lady Gaga as one of the game's newest Icon Series additions, which included a skin, emote, and instruments inspired by the popular artist. Fortnite Festival adds another fresh set of tracks on Thursday, March 14, which include Jimmy Eat World's The Middle, Juice WRLD's Lucid Dreams, Juice WRLD and Marshmello's Come & Go, Katy Perry's Firework, P!nk's So What, SAINt JHN's Roses (Imanbek remix), and the previously mentioned tracks. These are expected to go live at 8 PM EST along with Fortnite's Item Shop rotation. Assuming that Fortnite uses the same approach as previous weeks, the new tracks will be available to play for free for a limited time before being cycled out. Users will need to purchase the tracks in the Item Shop for 500 V-Bucks each if they wish to play them whenever they want to.
Fans ofFortnite's Festival mode can also check out Epic Games' new collaboration with Fender, which resulted in the Fender Stratocaster and Fender Precision Bass being added to the Item Shop on March 13. The iconic instruments can be purchased for 800 V-Bucks each alongside two new rockstar-themed emotes, Windmill Stomp and Kick It, which can be bought for 200 V-Bucks each.
Epic seems to have big plans for the unique mode, which is intended to consistently add new songs until it builds up a massive library. Fortnite Festival is also set to receive a Rock Band-like instrument later this spring when third-party peripheral company PDP releases its Riffmaster guitar controller. It's still unconfirmed whether Epic plans to support additional controllers in the future based on other instruments like drums, but it certainly seems possible.
