First 4 Figures has revealed a brand-new statue based on Isabelle's appearance in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Animal Crossing: New Horizons first launched in 2020 for the Nintendo Switch, and is the fifth major title in the franchise. The title received a lot of critical acclaim and was one of the best-selling games on the system. New Horizons is still a popular title among fans, mainly due to its characters and social interactions with other players and villagers.
Some of Animal Crossing's most popular villagers and characters return in New Horizons, such as Isabelle. Isabelle was first introduced in Animal Crossing: New Leaf on the Nintendo 3DS, where she would help out the player character regarding his mayoral duties. In New Horizons, she's in charge of the Resident Services building and will give out the daily announcements. Isabelle's popularity catapulted her into becoming one of the mascots of the franchise alongside Tom Nook, appearing in spin-off media or getting merchandise based on herself. Fans can soon pre-order a statue of her in her New Horizons outfit from First 4 Figures.
This statue was shown off by First 4 Figures on social media, highlighting how it looks. As the figure is based on Isabelle's appearance in New Horizons, she's wearing a red button-up blouse with tropical leaves and the Animal Crossing logo imprinted on it. She is also wearing a pair of shoes and a plain green skirt to fit her secretary look. The figure also comes with a base that has other Animal Crossing-related branding on it, while she stands in front of a fence. The figure itself measures around 9 inches high and 5.1 inches in width and depth. Pre-orders for this figure will open on May 2, 2024.
This Animal Crossing figure was first teased by First 4 earlier this month, stating that fans should keep their eyes on the pre-order date. At the time of its initial announcement, First 4 didn't release any photos, so this is the first time that fans have seen what the statue looks like. If fans opt-in to get the exclusive edition of the figure, it will include a magnetic backdrop that attaches to the back of the base, which serves to enhance the statue by giving an Animal Crossing-themed background. If fans pre-order through First 4's website, they can get an additional $10 off.
This won't be the only official merchandise that the franchise is collaborating with, as LEGO announced a new pair of Animal Crossing sets earlier this past weekend. The first set includes a Town Center kit, which includes Isabelle, K.K. Slider, and other popular villagers, with the second one being based on Dodo Airlines. Animal Crossing fans are quite eager for these figures to be released.
