The latest update for Final Fantasy 16 is now available to download before the launch of The Rising Tide on April 18th. It’s necessary to purchase and install the second paid expansion, so ensure it’s ready before venturing to Mysidia.
Update 1.31 is noteworthy for including several new quality-of-life features, like Quick Complete for instantly teleporting to an NPC to wrap up their quest. There are also Skill Sets for creating loadouts of Eikonic abilities and Feats to swap to when not in combat. Photo Mode receives new tone correction, portrait mode and screen effects, while additional Orchestrion Rolls can be collected.
But wait, there’s more, as the update also buffs several Eikonic abilities and Feats like Blind Justice, Gouge, Wings of Light, Aerial Blast, Ice Age and much more. Several accessories have also had their effectiveness increased. If that weren’t enough, the player’s attack is increased outside of some Eikon battles.
