Unpack your sniper rifle and garrote, folks, as we have some exciting news for you. Feral Interactive, the team behind the excellent mobile ports of XCOM 2, Rome: Total War, and Grid Autosport is at it again. This time, it’s the murderous classic, Hitman: Blood Money.
The port looks excellent in the tweet we’ve seen so far. It showcases Agent 47 killing his victims in a wide variety of ways, including with a knife, sniper rifle, and simply blowing them up. He walks away looking all cool.
Hitman: Blood Money is the fourth entry in the series, and one of the highlights. It launched all the way back in 2006 for PC, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360, and almost certainly inspired the plot of the John Wick series.
You once again take on the role of Agent 47 as you strive to bring down the Franchise, a rival hitman organisation that’s threatening your employer, the International Contract Agency.
Agent 47 is a clone, you see, and the rival corporation wants the technology to create murderous monsters of their own. Cue a murderous rampage by Agent 47 to put a stop to them once and for all.
In a tweet announcing the port, Feral Interactive states that Hitman: Blood Money on Android has “new features and gameplay improvements inspired by later Hitman games:.
Obviously, we can expect some HD polish, given that the original launched during the SD generation, but what else is new? Well, quite a lot judging from that teaser trailer.
Comparing some footage from the original to the teaser, the visuals are a lot sharper, the lighting effects seem to have had a complete overhaul, and the character tagging system in crowds appears to be new. I didn’t play the original though.
Feral followed up in a comment on the twee that pre-orders will go live “soon”, so we will keep an eye out and keep you posted when they arrive.
In the meantime, check out our best new Android games this week feature to find something new to play. We update this weekly so you always have something new to keep you busy.

For many, Minecraft is an incredible game for a plethora of reasons. What most of those reasons boil down to, though, is the openness and creativity to build whatever you want, like a giant Gothic skyline.
The first new Sonic Team Sonic the Hedgehog game since 2017’s Sonic Forces is available now and aims to bring back the old with a bit of the new and craft an experience that blends the familiar with new, fun mechanics. Sonic Mania was the last full-on sidescrolling Sonic game and now Sonic Superstars aims to bring that gameplay back, but with super-colorful and lively polygonal art style. The end result is a game that winds up feeling very natural to fans of old-school Sonic games, but with a faster pace akin to newer entries in the series.
One of the most requested features in Pokemon games for many fans has been (and may always be) a difficulty setting. Pokemon is a franchise loved by many, spanning age ranges far more significant than most other popular IPs with the same demographic appeal. Pokemon has its roots in many people, having released in 1996 to near instant success.

It’s already October, and that means a month-long Halloween celebration — and the perfect time to catch up on all the horror movies of 2023. While there are still plenty of great ones that aren’t streamable quite yet, most of the year’s best are already available online, whether it’s to rent, to buy, to stream, or even for free.
