Escape From Tarkov Releases New Update to Fix Some Frustrating Issues

The latest update to The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered introduced new content, fixes, and tweaks to the game. This comes just a few days after developer Naughty Dog dropped another small update to its recently launched Sony PlayStation 5 exclusive.

Battlestate Games has confirmed that it’s rolling back Escape from Tarkov’s latest patch after “critical issues and bugs were discovered.” 

Helldivers 2 has released a new patch that aims to improve various issues for PC users. Helldivers 2 players have struggled with stability issues since launch, and the new update will hopefully improve things for many users.

Today’s Escape from Tarkovupdate hasn’t gone down well with fans. Among the large list of alterations, the recoil of a number of weapons has been changed, and it’s also been confirmed that certain microtransactions are on the way, too. 

Escape From Tarkov will offer players the opportunity to purchase additional «stash lines» to expand their in-game inventory capabilities. This upcoming addition to Escape From Tarkov was announced by Battlestate Games in its patch notes for the 0.14.1.0 update, signaling what seems to be the introduction of its first-ever microtransactions.

Escape from Tarkov has a long list list of fixes in the current update, the installation should take around four hours to complete. 

The new Version 2.0 update for added one of the strangest Achievements in the game so far, offering players a chance to get Stellar Jade in a very counter-intuitive manner. The patch kicked off the popular turn-based RPG’s second year of content and introduced the planet of Penacony, also known as the Land of Dreams for players to explore. This is an entirely new destination, much like Jarilo-VI and the Xianzhou Luofu, and it is expected to expand with more future updates.

Fans of No Man's Sky have previously been told to expect a particularly big year ahead for the game, and creator Sean Murray has already begun teasing the release of the title's first content drop of 2024 with another mysterious post on social media. While the game has enjoyed dozens of free major updates since its controversial release in 2016, No Man's Sky saw another big year in 2023 with the Interceptor update as well as a full set of new expeditions for players to embark on.

The PlayStation VR2 port of the critically acclaimed flight simulator Ultrawings 2 has been prematurely released, and developer Bit Planet Games has no idea how it happened. Despite being blindsided by the surprise launch, Bit Planet Games is already trying to deliver updates for its title.

Blizzard releases a new update for Diablo 4 to adjust and fix a number of issues currently impacting Season 3 players. Blizzard originally revealed Season of the Construct for Diablo 4 a few weeks back, giving fans a look at what Season 3 is bringing to the table. Taking place in the Kehjistan region, players are facing off against a demon known as Malphas, who has taken over Zoltun Kulle's lab stored with technology and constructs. In addition to delving into new dungeons called Vaults, players would also get access to their own allied construct known as The Seneschal, which could be customized to compliment various playstyles.

Fallout 76 detailed a new update coming on January 30 that will implement bug fixes and launch the Burning Love event. Additionally, Fallout 76 PC players can now try out the Atlantic City: America's Playground expansion on the game's Public Test Servers.

Enshrouded has released three small updates that fix performance issues and make gameplay adjustments. Enshrouded was released in early access on January 24, and these are the first of many updates the game will likely receive during 2024.
