However, they aren't as common as other materials and can only be found in grassy biomes. You can combine Root Resin with Smoldering Butterflies and String to create an item that can be imbued on a weapon. This gives your weapon extra powers, making it highly advantageous to use against bosses and enemies.

If there’s one thing that has in spades, it would be mysteries — plenty of which stand to be solved in the DLC. FromSoftware’s storytelling leans heavily on intrigue, encouraging players to go on deep dives into the lore to attempt to piece together the open threads and enigmas presented throughout the game. This is partially what makes the Soulsborne games so great, and might be the best example yet. However, a few answers would go a long way in clarifying some of the more puzzling secrets in the lore.
