Dune: Spice Wars launches September 14

Square Enix’s Splatoon-like multiplayer shooter Foamstars received a new trailer during the recent State of Play and a release window. It’s out in early 2024 for PS4 and PS5, but current-gen console players can try it out early with the upcoming open beta.

The hybrid 4X and RTS set in Frank Herbert's universe of Dune will launch out of Early Access this week, on September 14th, as Shiro Games releases Dune: Spice Wars. Funcom’s Dune: Spice Wars will exit early access for PC on September 14th. Developed by Shiro Games of Wartales and Northgard fame, the 4X real-time strategy is based on Frank Herbert’s Dune. It will launch with its sixth major update, adding House Ecaz for six playable factions.

TY the Tasmanian Tiger 4: Bush Rescue Returns will launch for Switch via Nintendo eShop on September 26, developer Krome Studios announced. It will be priced at $19.99, but users who pre-order can get it at a 25 percent-off discount price of $14.99.

WitchSpring R will launch for PC via Steam on September 26 for $34.99 / 4,300 yen with a 15 percent-off discount price for the first week of release, developer Kiwi Walks announced. A port to console is planned for release at a later date. It will support Japanese and Korean audio, and English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese subtitle options.

Street Fighter 6 downloadable content character A.K.I. will launch on September 27, Capcom announced. A.K.I. will be unlocked for owners of the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or Year 1 Character Pass.

Looter shooter Relic Hunters Legend will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on September 25, Gearbox Publishing and developer Rogue Snail announced.

Psychological horror game Lempo will launch for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG on September 7, publisher PID Games and developer One Trick Entertainment announced.

Publisher RapidEyeMovers and developer Wolf & Wood have announced the first free major content update for C-Smash VRS. It will launch on September 14.

Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo have confirmed that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s second paid DLC, Conqueror of Jiangdong, will launch on September 27th. It will be available standalone and in the Season Pass for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and PC players.
