Doom Studio id Software is Seemingly Working on new Version of its Game Engine – id Tech 8

Housemarque, the developer of Returnal, has announced plans to move into a new studio.

Epic Games' head of publishing strategy Sergiy Galyonkin has announced that he is leaving the company after eight years.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is taking weapon customization to a new level with the introduction of Aftermarket Parts. This brand-new customization option will give players something to strive for even after they’ve fully completed a weapon’s individual progress bar. Anyone who has ever maxed out every gun in Call of Duty knows how much of a grind it can be, but this is the developers’ way of sweetening the deal for each weapon you check off the list.

Steam Spy creator Sergiy Galyonkin, who has also spent the past six years serving as Epic Games' head of publishing strategy, has announced that he has left company. Galyonkin's departure comes just days after Epic confirmed significant layoffs at the company that put more than 800 people—16% of Epic's total headcount—out of work.

Blizzard might be working on a new survival game in the next few years. That’s according to a new report from Insider Gaming. This new survival game has next to nothing revealed right now, so details are incredibly scarce. However, it’s at least a project we are unaware of right now. Unfortunately, we don’t know when to see anything about this mysterious game. Likewise, with Activision Blizzard soon under the control of Microsoft, it’s possible that whatever project is being worked on right now won’t land on competitor platforms.
