Doom meets D&D in this turn-based RPG, and I'm living for it

Baldur's Gate 3 is a game full of intricate detail. With so many dialogue options, characters, classes, and quests, everyone's experience is a little bit different. Discoveries are around every corner, and the only thing seemingly separating you from success or tragedy is a dice roll.

Baldur's Gate 3 has continued setting new records on Steam in the wake of its massively successful launch, with its latest peak concurrent player count beating that of every other CRPG and turn-based game by a large margin.

Developer Ironmace revealed its upcoming RPG Dark and Darker will be published by Chaf Games. The studio referred to Chaf as its "official partner" on the game's Discord server, adding that it was "helping us prepare" for the game's launch. 

Vampire Syndicate: Gangs of MoonFall calls itself «An adult cyberpunk crime lord RPG». It casts you as the recently promoted familiar of a vampire, the Renfield to her Dracula, who leads a squad of cybernetically augmented mortals who do the dirty work the undead leave to others. Also, it's a top-down RPG with turn-based combat, and sex, which I guess is technically also turn-based.

There's a reason why ramen is so popular with college students, and it's not the delicious MSG. Ramen is cheap, and college is not. There's tuition, of course, but also living expenses and the cash you need to keep up with activities, events, and, yes, classes.

Any game that drops on the PC will have an abundance of mods before most gamers have even installed it. Baldur's Gate 3, which dropped yesterday (3rd August), is no exception.

Finally, Capwolf is back. And appropriate to the cult-classic Marvel character's werewolf nature, he'll be joined by a new version of the classic Marvel team Nick Fury and the Howling Commandos in a new four-issue flashback limited series by writer Stephanie Phillips and artist Carlos Magno.

There have been no shortages lately regarding the next Nintendo console release. We’ve been seeing reports quite a bit this year. With the Nintendo Switch at the end of its lifecycle, plenty of fans out there want to see just what Nintendo has planned next. Now more industry insiders are starting to chime in on what they have heard and expect to see from this Switch successor. Of course, you have to take this information as nothing more than a rumor right now as we continue to wait for an official announcement.

It took several months, but you can finally play the Wii U versions of Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon online. Nintendo has confirmed that both titles will once again be available for multiplayer as of August 3rd. The company has fixed the security vulnerability that prompted the shutdown of online service in March.
