Disney Speedstorm Gets a Release Date and Pre-Registration on Android

The kart racing genre is known for many mediocre franchise tie-in titles. NASCAR, DreamWorks, and even Garfield have entered the party with varying results. Sonic and Crash are arguably the only two that can somewhat rival Mario and his friends. Disney Speedstorm is on the cusp of that.

It’s a funny thing when you follow an indie game from its initial announcement to its release. I’d say it’s an equally funny thing when you live in ignorance throughout an indie game’s development, only finding out about it when a release trailer is posted. In the case of Knuckle Sandwich, developed by Andy Brophy, I think there will be a fair amount of both column ‘A’ and column ‘B’ when the game drops in November.

Blizzard Entertainment's upcoming Warcraft-themed strategy game Warcraft Rumble will be released on iOS and Android on November 3.Warcraft Rumble is a free-to-play mobile strategy game that blends tower defense, RTS, and autobattler elements. The game features a long-form single-player campaign that will take players across the world of Azeroth, as well as opportunities for co-op missions, PvP, guilds, raids, and dungeons. Rumble has also received a preview video, where senior 3D artist Justine Hamer, game producer Elhora Davis, and art director Jeremy Collins talked through their vision for the title in what proved to be a charming seven-minute presentation.     

Disney Speedstorm has just launched for real this time, going free-to-play to boot. It launched alongside Season 4, which introduced characters from Aladdin, as well as new themed tracks and more.

Gameloft has teased that Frozen and The Little Mermaid are a part of the Disney Speedstorm roadmap over the next four months. Frozen‘s Arendelle and five new characters from the popular animated franchise will appear this November.

Disney Speedstorm is a solid mascot racer full of iconic characters from the legendary House of Mouse, like Stitch and Mulan. It's now switched to a free-to-play model, so if you were on the fence, there's no reason not to get whisked away to a whole new world of kart racing.

In the world of Diablo, it seems like the seasons never end. With three active titles in the franchise now receiving regular updates, it’s a paradise for fans of the series. Diablo 3 Season 29 recently kicked off on September 15, and the anticipation is building for Diablo 4 Season 2, scheduled for release on October 17. But that’s not all; the horizon also holds the promise of Diablo 2: Resurrected Season 5.

Disney Speedstorm developer Gameloft has confirmed the themes for the game’s fifth and sixth seasons, but dataminers have revealed more information.

Apple launched the highly anticipated iPhone 15 series at its Wonderlust event on September 12. The Cupertino-based tech giant unveiled four models in total - iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The next big Final Fantasy XIV update launches in just two weeks. At this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix revealed FFXIV Patch 6.5 goes live on October 3, 2023.

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Season 6 are right around the corner. It'll be a horror-themed affair, set to tie in with spooky season, and features Spawn as a new Operator. There are new maps to enjoy too, as well as three new weapons across the two games.
