Blizzard fixed a severe bug introduced in ’s recent 1.2.3 update. The glitch caused all high-level players’ Glyphs to lose one level the same day Blizzard introduced a punishing new dungeon.
Diablo 4 has a level cap of 100 divided between its two systems. After reaching level 50, the player unlocks the Paragon Board, which lets them socket Glyphs for more powerful bonuses. Unfortunately, as PC Gamer reported, the game’s highly-anticipated 1.2.3 update introduced a glitch that caused all Glyphs to lose one level. This was particularly bad for players with level 15 Glyphs since the drop to level 14 reduced the radius around which the Glyph grants bonuses. This was enough to break many players’ builds.
Fortunately, Blizzard has since fixed the bug, and players Glyph’s are back to their intended level. Diablo 4 players who leveled their Glyphs up while the glitch affected them will keep their progress. So, a player who leveled their demoted Glyphs back up to 15 will notice they are now level 16.
The original bug was some very inconvenient timing for Diablo 4 players. Update 1.2.3’s main event was the introduction of the new Abattoir of Zir dungeon. The challenging dungeon tasks players with fighting their way through powerful demons on a tight, ten-minute time limit. Players have observed that the Abattoir of Zir’s first tier is harder than anything else in the game, and it only gets more complicated. Diablo 4 players have a penchant for creating game-breaking character builds, though Abattoir of Zir may take some time to crack.

is the newest game coming from developer Hello Games, and there's good reason to keep an eye on this title. It might be easy to assume that the upcoming open-world experience is going to over-promise and under-deliver, as the original launch of fell short of some intense expectations that had been built up over the course of its development and promotion. If anything, however, it's easier to make the case that something closer to the opposite scenario is likely to happen this time around.

Aww yeah, now we're talking. One of my personal highlights from tonight's Day Of The Devs Showcase, developers SFB Games have just announced they're making a sequel to their excellent detective puzzle game, Tangle Tower. Called The Mermaid's Tongue, this latest locked room mystery will see Detective Grimoire and his assistant Sally return for an altogether more watery adventure as they solve the strange murder of one Magnus Montuga, who's met their unfortunate demise after being seemingly spat out by a cursed cauldron that's never been opened. Come and watch the reveal trailer below - and then why not hop over to Steam to play its free teaser demo while you're at it?
Diablo 4's developers accidentally nerfed just about every single player - just in time for a very difficult endgame event to launch.
Today, Blizzard opened the gates to Diablo 4's hardest endgame dungeon, a seasonal event called the Abattoir of Zir. Experienced players have been gearing up for this moment for weeks, perfecting their builds to tackle the first tier of a dungeon that the developer teased might be completely impossible at its highest difficulty level. But in an absurdly unfortunate piece of timing, the update also introduced a bug that has reduced the power of almost every endgame player in the game.
