Blizzard Entertainment has announced the return of Mother’s Blessing toDiablo 4, a week of increased XP and Gold. It starts at 10 AM PST today and ends on November 27th. During this time, players will receive a 35 percent multiplicative bonus to XP and Gold.
The bonus applies to Eternal and Seasonal Realms and all World Tiers while stacking with Elixirs and the Urn of Experience. If you’re lagging in Season of Blood or just starting, this should aid in the Seasonal Journey, maxing out the Battle Pass and preparing your character for the Abattoir of Zir.
The latter goes live on December 5th, adding a new “highly replayable” end-game experience for level 100 players. It will last six weeks and provide a Paragon Glyph as a reward. On December 12th, the first seasonal event, Midwinter Blight, goes live and sees players hunting a “mysterious, red-cloaked terror” for three weeks. Stay tuned for more details on both in the coming weeks.
Diablo 4 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Check out our review of the launch version here.

Earlier this week, Blizzard released the equivalent of a torture rack for Diablo 4's most masochistic players—The Abattoir of Zir (try saying that ten times really fast). It's meant to be an endgame activity designed for the hardest of the hardcore, a task you're "not really supposed to finish." Unfortunately, it hit a couple of speed bumps on the way out.

The PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted is here to spotlight our most anticipated games of 2024 and beyond, but not everything in the show today is far off. It’s been a long road back to Hollywood for John Woo. His last American movie was the Ben Affleck-led sci-fi movie Paycheck, a commercial success largely rejected by critics. That was 20 whole years ago. In 2023, though, one of action movies’ greatest minds has returned stateside with Silent Night, a largely dialogue-free revenge thriller that sees the legendary director reinventing his style once again.
