With Destiny 2’s The Final Shape raid out on June 7th, players will have minimal time to prepare. Thankfully, the Fireteam Finder tool will be in place to help find other players without venturing outside of the title, like with previous raids. Bungie has confirmed that the feature has exited the beta stage.
First available for limited-time raid stress tests in November 2023, the Fireteam Finder beta became a permanent addition last December. It’s seen several improvements, like integration with Bungie.net and the Destiny Companion app, better screen-to-screen flow, Onslaught and Zero Hour options, and over 60 bug fixes. Bungie will look to add more features like lobby invites and voice chat in the “near term.”
Destiny 2: The Final Shape launches on June 4th, but before that, players can delve into Pantheon, a raid boss gauntlet going live on April 30th. It features encounters against raid bosses that increase in scale and Power weekly. Head here for more details.
