Dead by Daylight Fans Should Circle May 14 on Their Calendars

With past console generations falling to the wayside as the industry progresses, there's sad news for longtime Xbox supporters coming on July 29, albeit with a silver lining. With the current console generation heading into its fourth year (or, in the case of the Switch, its seventh), support for past consoles, devices, and services is beginning to dwindle as companies shift their focus towards newer releases. Unfortunately, this means that some functions of older consoles are inevitably facing discontinued service, rendering players no longer able to use online services on those consoles.

's open-world and characters have been praised since the game's 2018 launch, with Rockstar's immense attention to detail making for one of the best in-game worlds to become immersed in. Unfortunately, as with nearly every game in existence, there was content that had to be cut during development, but thanks to the modding community on PC, many fans have found a way to restore some of this.

A new set of cards for the expansion has been revealed, and they are a welcome throwback to one of the franchise’s best regions. is an upcoming Japan-exclusive set that will focus on several creatures from the Land of Kitakami, as it portrays elements of ’s epilogue. Nevertheless, it also contains several Pokémon, trainers, and locations from other locations. It has recently been announced that the set will be partially converted for the release of in the Western market in August.

Sony has announced the latest lineup of games coming to their PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers this May. The headliner is definitely Rockstar’s blockbuster Red Dead Redemption 2, but some other solid additions, including Deceive Inc. and Stranded: Alien Dawn are also on the way. Meanwhile, Premium subscribers have some deep cuts coming, including snowboarding game 2Xtreme and a Worms pinball game I’ve never heard of.

Sony has confirmed that PlayStation Plus subscribers will be getting one of the greatest games of all time this month. Those who have upgraded their PS Plus membership to the Extra or Premium level are able to unlock a massive library of downloadable games from across many PlayStation generations, with a variety of genres to enjoy.

PlayStation Plus is Sony’s equivalent of Xbox’s Game Pass service, and games come and go from the catalog over time. While not every game is on the service, and some rotate out, it’s still an excellent way to play a selection of great games from the last decade. For instance, Rockstar’s epic cowboy saga Red Dead Redemption 2 will soon be available on PlayStation Plus after a long absence, along with a handful of other intriguing titles.

Remember when Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive announced a new PvE multiplayer game with Midwinter Entertainment? It’s codenamedProject T and is a third-person co-op shooter currently in early development. Behaviour Interactive have revealed a game they teased quite a while ago, Project T. Well, bits of a game, it is nowhere near finished but they wanted to show fans how things were progressing and get their input.

Dead by Daylight: Dungeons & Dragons features one of the most iconic characters in the D&D mythos – the archlich Vecna – as well as the original Bard Survivor Aestri Yazar (and her playable counterpart, Baermar Uraz). Also coming is the Forgotten Ruins Map, a dark fantasy-inspired Realm befitting of The Whispered One’s presence.

Dead by Daylight fans can check out the Dungeons and Dragons chapter starting today, but Behaviour Interactive teased another high-profile crossover during an anniversary showcase on Tuesday. A Castlevania chapter is on the way to DbD. There aren't any details yet about what that will include, but you just might get to play as Alucard or Simon Belmont in the fog. Behaviour plans to divulge more info about the Castlevania tie-up, which will arrive later this year, in August.
