The Guardians of the Last City in Destiny 2 have a new ally in the form of Tracer, a member of the famed hero organization Overwatch, thanks to one player's customized costume. The Destiny 2 customization was created by using the game's suite of armor and shader options.
Destiny 2 continues to be a fertile ground for player-driven fashion innovation, thanks to the vast amount of armor and color options the game has amassed over the years. The individual looks created by players range from characters in other franchises, like Marty McFly from Back to the Future or a Helldivers 2 soldier, to funny, random objects like a head of corn.
One particularly creative player was Julicious, a user on the DestinyFashion subreddit community. Julicious used a set of Destiny 2 Hunter armor ornaments and shaders to make a custom look based on Tracer from Overwatch, though the preset nature of the armor design in-game meant that their version of Tracer lacked the character's signature tech gadgets, like the Chronal Accelerator worn on her chest and back.
Julicious' Destiny 2 Tracer costume used a number of relatively underutilized items from the Hunter armor selection, taking advantage of their form-fitting silhouettes to properly approximate the appearance of the best diving hero in Overwatch 2. The look employs the low-rarity Mechanik.1.1 arms and the Intrepid Discovery Vest chest piece with the Long Journeys shader to copy Tracer's trademark leather flight jacket. The most iconic part of Tracer's default outfit, her orange tights, came courtesy of the NPA «Weir-Walker» Strides leg piece from the Destiny 2 Season of the Deep armor set, colored with the Copperbrand shader. Meanwhile, the Limitless Subversion Casque Hunter Head piece combined with the Vanguard Nightbeam shader matched the vibe of Tracer's orange-tinted racing goggles. Lastly, Julicious opted for the cap-like hood from the Aspiring Challenger Cloak, «because why not?»
Fellow Destiny 2 players praised Julicious efforts, noting the relative accuracy of the colors despite the vast gulf in character design sensibilities between Destiny 2 and Overwatch. Some had their own suggestions, such as using the in-game Courtier Helm, as its default appearance more closely matched the look of Tracer's glasses and the white tone of her tech gear. Another player suggested making the costume more combat-ready by adding some Destiny 2 Hunter Exotic armor, such as the Foetracer helm, to further evoke Tracer's name in the design.
It's fun to see players make connections between Overwatch and Destiny, if unofficial ones. At one point, early design ideas for the original Destiny closely matched what eventually became Overwatch. Perhaps the two games could become closer in the

One artistic fan recently created an impressive square rug inspired by the Squirtle Squad from the Pokemon anime. In the original Pokemon Red and Blue, Squirtle was one of three Starter options that players could choose from at the very beginning of the game, but Ash Ketchum met his first Water-type partner differently in the long-running Pokemon TV series. There, Ash’s Squirtle was the leader of the Squirtle Squad, a group of abandoned Tiny Turtle Pokemon who went about causing mischief in the Kanto region.
A creative Stardew Valley fan has combined their passion for the indie game and art by creating two impressive real-life dioramas: one of the Wizard’s Tower and the other of the Abandoned House of the “Hat Mouse.” Thanks to the popularity of Stardew Valley, fans create artwork based on Pelican Town and its residents regularly. However, these recently shared dioramas are notable for their immense detail packed into relatively small models.
An imaginative Pokemon fan recently put together a fake commercial for the ever-helpful Poke Mart Potions. The Pokemon franchise is largely centered around elementally empowered creatures battling one another, and injuries and lowered health meters are just part of the job for any aspiring Pokemon Trainer. If a Pokemon’s health is depleted completely, it faints and can no longer be used to battle until it is restored at the local Pokemon Center, but there are luckily several portable Pokemon items players can use to keep their critters in top fighting condition.
may offer players an assortment of abilities and tools to destroy their enemies but a Rogue skill is easily one of the best in the game and one dedicated fan just made it even stronger. Unlocked as early as Level 1, the Sneak Attack skill allows sneaker characters to deal an additional 1d6 damage to a foe they have Advantage against or when an ally is within 5ft of their target. It's remarkably simple to set up and while it's already an extremely potent way to dish out pain, a new mod has made it even better.
