Today, EA Sports has revealed their top 50 player ratings for the upcoming NHL 24. The game will officially release on October 6 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. While Cale Makar is not the highest rated player in the game, he does come in second with an overall rating of 95. He is tied with both Nathan MacKinnon and Daviss Pastrnak. The top player ratings also isn’t a 99, but rather a 97, with Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers again taking the title for highest rated player in the game. Square Enix and Applibot’s free-to-play mobile remake of Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis, launched worldwide earlier this month, and in its early days, the game seems to have enjoyed a great deal of success. In fact, Square Enix has also confirmed that it’ll be bringing the RPG to even more players.

Lunar Ray Games has announced side-scrolling action platformer Timespinner 2: Unwoven Dream for PC (Steam) and consoles to be announced. A release date was not announced.

Rocket Panda Games has announced Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate, a remastered version of the side-scrolling beat ’em up game rebuilt from the ground up on Unreal Engine 5. It will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in 2024 worldwide.

Studio Lights, a Shinjuku-based studio that worked on the environment lighting and cutscene lighting for both Final Fantasy XVI and Forspoken, has announced “isekai action RPG” Mononoke no Kuni. It will launch for PC via Steam in spring 2024, with plans to also release on PlayStation, Switch, iOS, and Android. A specific PlayStation platform was not announced.

Publisher Neon Doctrine and developer GameChanger Studio have announced My Lovely Empress, the next game in the simulation game series following My Lovely Daughter and My Lovely Wife. It will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store in 2024.
