The Battle Cats is gearing up for another round of virtual idol adventure with the iconic Hatsune Miku. From April 8th until April 22nd, 2024, you get to dive into the 4th rerun of the collab since we got our last taste of it back in March 2021.
The crossover is bringing back the much-loved Hatsune Miku Rare Capsules, with a slew of crossover units. Apart from the various versions of the teal-haired songstress herself, you get the gang from Crypton Future Media like Kagamine Rin and Len, Megurine Luka, plus KAITO and MEIKO.
Hold onto your cat towers because there’s an uber-cool Uber Rare cat ‘Hatsune Miku XVI’ up for grabs. This one has Miku with majestic white wings that sport musical instruments and art tools, inspired by her 16th-anniversary celebration.
Hatsune Miku as an Uber Rare Cat will be up for grabs through the Rare Cat Capsule. Her normal form rocks a grayscale vibe with a couple of floating cat speakers, while her evolved form amps up the volume to full colour, with a purple/pink music bar and double the cat speakers.
The Battle Cats x Hatsune Miku is also bringing back all the stages from the previous Hatsune Miku collaboration. You’ll get to side with or fight against your digital diva in a totally unconventional cat-filled battlefield.
The Battle Cats was developed and launched by PONOS in September 2015. It’s a tower defense game, starting off as ‘Nyanko Great War’ in Japan. It has a hefty dose of cat-commanding and space-time hijinks to build your own feline army.
If you haven’t tried the game yet, head to the Google Play Store and get it now. It’s free to play and full of cute but fierce kittens.
