"Balatro has hit the 500,000 copies mark in just 10 days across all platforms," Playstack wrote on Twitter.
"Thank you for your amazing support - we're beyond grateful!"
Prior to this, Balatro shifted 250,000 copies in its first 72 hours.
"Thank you to each and every one of you for your incredible support and love for Balatro," read a post on the title's Steam page. "Your enthusiasm has been overwhelming, and we're deeply grateful for it."
Speaking to Rogueliker, solo developer LocalThunk said: "I am really happy with how many people have been able to interface with and enjoy this weird thing I created.
