Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has revealed new details about the Operation: Day Zero launch event, which features rewards that can be used in all three of the latest Call of Duty titles. By rallying together and meeting certain objectives, the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile community will be able to unlock certain rewards before the event ends.
The long-awaited release of Warzone Mobile is set for March 21, and the game will feature cross-progression with the main Warzone game and Modern Warfare 3. Warzone Mobile will also feature full controller support, allowing players to employ a more traditional Call of Duty control configuration on their phone. What's more, the release of Warzone Mobile will mark the return of the fan-favorite Verdansk map from 2019's Modern Warfare and the original Warzone game.
The Warzone Mobile Operation: Day Zero event will begin on March 22, just one day after the game's launch. During the event, players may earn Event Points by completing certain Event Actions within Rebirth Island and five contested zones within Verdansk in Warzone Mobile. These Event Actions include opening a supply box, eliminating an enemy player, landing headshots, using a kill streak, completing a contract, and purchasing items from Buy Stations in Battle Royale. Special Day Zero Supply Drops will also be dropped into active zones, yielding greater XP gains and loot compared to normal Supply Drops. As the community accrues Event Points and completes certain milestones, the next event zone will activate.
Clearing event zones as a community and earning Event Points unlocks new emblems, calling cards, M4 and X12 weapon blueprints, decals, and the new «Bloody Reaper» Ghost operator. Individual rewards are given based on the amount of EP that's contributed to the community total, so players are encouraged to contribute as much as possible in Battle Royale. Event Points may be earned in Warzone Mobile's launch playlists, but the Event Point gains are lower compared to Battle Royale.
All rewards can be claimed in the Warzone Mobile Event Shop before April 3 at 9:00 p.m. PT. Once the rewards are claimed, players may use them in Warzone Mobile, Warzone, and Modern Warfare 3 thanks to cross-progression support.
More events will be held after Operation: Day Zero, and Warzone Mobile players can expect regular playlist updates and major balance patches. There's still time to pre-register for Warzone Mobile and earn various rewards at launch as well. Once pre-registered, players will automatically receive their rewards after launching and logging into Warzone Mobile on March 21.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has been a highly anticipated release in the franchise, and the quality of the game's graphics seem to be reliant on how much time fans spend with the mobile title.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile was not scheduled to go live for a couple more hours at the time of writing this. However, many users reported that the battle royale game was available to download almost 12 hours ahead of its schedule. The information was also officially confirmed by the developers. As the game is now available, users can play regular battle royale matches. However, they will still have to wait till March 22 for the first campaign of the game called Operation Day Zero.
It seems odd that Activision would release Call of Duty Warzone Mobile when it already has a hugely successful Call of Duty mobile game making millions of dollars for the company. But from a business perspective it makes sense. Call of Duty Mobile, the 2019 mobile first-person shooter spin-off that has seen 650 million downloads since launch, is developed by Tencent-owned TiMi Studio Group, and so not all the huge profits it generates benefit Activision’s bottom line. Call of Duty Warzone Mobile, on the other hand, is developed entirely in-house at Activision, and so the company gets a bigger slice of the revenue pie every time a player drops cash on a battle pass.
Call of Duty Warzone is officially available worldwide. This game has been one many COD fans were excited for, not only to be able to play the game on the go, but also in a new way as COD hasn’t had a updated mobile version of the game come out in a while.
