Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Is Bringing Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, 21 Savage

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s single player campaign is going to see players facing the threat of Vladimir Makarov once again, while on the multiplayer side of things, it seems the game will be taking a trip down memory lane with remastered versions of maps from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2. Beyond that, it’s looking likely that another fan-favourite mode will also be featured.

Call of Duty fans are unearthing new information on Modern Warfare 3 via a secret mobile number, confirming a Zombies mode and remakes of classic Modern Warfare 2 maps.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III gets a big reveal event tomorrow, August 17, 2023, at 10:30 PM Pacific. It looks like Activision has something huge planned in anticipation of it.

Before its official reveal on August 17th, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is seeing its fair share of rumors and leaks (which is par for the course, given the last few months). Insider Gaming and PlayStation Size reported that the sequel is being delivered to Modern Warfare 2 (2022) via add-ons. It now seems that the multiplayer maps are all remastered from Modern Warfare 2 (2009).

Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is out later this year, and despite earlier rumors about it being DLC for Modern Warfare 2, the publisher assures it’s a $70 release. However, Insider Gaming and PlayStation Size on Twitter recently took a “deep dive” into the code. The sequel’s content is seemingly being delivered via add-ons to last year’s title.

Activision is doing something different with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, this year's entry in the blockbuster military shooter series. Following the official unveiling of Modern Warfare 3 earlier this week, Activision has confirmed players will be able to transfer a «vast amount» of previously acquired Modern Warfare 2 content over to this year's sequel when it launches in November.

Vladimir Makarov is a fan-favourite Call of Duty villain who has not appeared in the campaign since Modern Warfare 3. Fitting then that he's set to return in the rebooted MW3 launching on November 10, with a trailer dedicated to his reveal dropping later today.
