Rockstar introduced its own subscription service in 2022, GTA Plus. Designed for dedicated players of GTA Online, GTA Plus gets subscribers monthly in-game rewards and exclusives. Rockstar also added a few older GTA games, including the remastered trilogy, which subscribers can play for no additional cost. Despite its name, that library was expanded beyond GTA alone last week as Rockstar added Red Dead Redemption. It won't be stopping there either and has now announced plans to add even more big names from its back catalog.
Revealed in a blog post about upcoming bonuses for GTA Plus subscribers, Rockstar revealed Bully and LA Noire will be following in Red Dead Redemption's footsteps later this year. No word on when exactly or if they'll both drop at the same time, just confirmation that they're coming. Rockstar also revealed subscribers will be getting GTA$1,000,000 every month between April and August. That's in addition to the GTA$500,000 they get already.
Bully turns 18 this year and despite endless rumors, the game has never been followed up on, whether that be via a remaster or a sequel. Prior reports have claimed a fully realized Bully 2 was ready to go in 2009 but was never released, and more recently the game was among many Rockstar projects to have reportedly been canceled. Making it playable through GTA Plus might be the closest we're ever going to get to a remaster or a sequel, and a great way to get more people signed up for the service.

The demand for an LA Noire return hasn't been quite as vociferous, likely because it's not as hard to track down and play on modern platforms. It's also not quite as old as Bully, although it's still been well over ten years since its release. Rockstar adding non-GTA games to GTA Plus is likely a sign that sign-ups have started to slow down. There are only so many GTA Online players who want extra stuff for $5.99 per month. Now the studio needs to find ways to get people who might not play GTA Online at all to sign up.
Not only does that get Rockstar $5.99 per month from anyone who wants to play its classic games, but those people might also try GTA Online while they're signed up, or return to the game if their interest has lapsed. The studio is picking up speed on the road to GTA 6 and although it might seem hype already couldn't possibly be higher, Rockstar will want to make sure it can do all it can to get as many people interested in GTA before its new game's arrival, especially if GTA 5's online component is going to
