Blank Panther And Captain America Game Launches Next Year

Back in 2022, it was announced that Uncharted writer and creative director Amy Hennig is working on a Marvel game starring both Black Panther and Captain America. Unlike most superhero titles these days, Hennig's game stood out from the rest by being set during World War 2, and its setting was shown off during a Disney showcase that same year.
Two years later, we now have an official title and release window, as Amy Hennig's Marvel game has been revealed as Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, and it will be launching at some point in 2025. On top of that, we also got a lengthy story trailer to give us an idea of what Captain America and Black Panther will be up to in World War 2 Paris, as well as the game's seriously impressive graphics.
While the story trailer doesn't give too much away, we do learn that Captain America and Black Panther don't start out on the friendliest of terms. I think many thought the two would be working with each other, but it seems as though Captain America has a big issue with Black Panther roaming around, with the two clashing with each other towards the end of the trailer. Whether or not they'll put their differences aside to fight against a common enemy, we'll have to wait and see.
With the confirmation that Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is launching in 2025, next year is looking pretty stacked already, with Death Stranding 2 , Pokemon Legends: ZA , Monster Hunter Wilds and GTA 6 also launching during that same window, barring any delays.
It's also possible that this trailer may have given us an idea of what the game may play like. We can see Black Panther skulking across rooftops and taking out goons quietly, which implies there may be some stealth and parkour elements, while Captain America seems a lot more hard-headed. We don't see him taking down bad guys as much as Black Panther, but when we do, he kicks down doors and throws his shield around, so we can assume that stealth won't be Cap's forte.
While it won't be confirmed until we see some actual gameplay, it would be interesting to see how Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra utilizes two very different gameplay styles depending on which character you're playing. At the very least, it seems like it's going to vary much more than other superhero collaboration titles released lately, with both Marvel's Avengers and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League criticized for their characters feeling samey.
