Baldur's Gate 3 publishing director says Larian is 'in discussion with Microsoft' over reported Xbox bans for recordings of the game's explicit content, calls the bans 'annoying and uncool'

Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke has said that the studio's games won't ever be found on a subscription service because he wants «to make sure the other ecosystem doesn’t die.»

It looks like Baldur's Gate 3's save bug woes on Xbox Series X/S might finally — fingers crossed — be at an end. The long-awaited fix that developer Larian Studios recently promised would arrive this week is now available to download.

Qualcomm was reportedly able to leverage an exclusive agreement with Microsoft where only the San Diego company’s chipsets would be used with any OEM launching a Windows notebook. However, we could be heading into a new era as, according to ARM CEO, the agreement between the two companies will expire later this year, giving other chipset makers an opportunity to penetrate this market and offer more options to customers.

With Baldur's Gate 3 scooping up accolades all over the place last year, anticipation for developer Larian's next game is already sky high; but while the studio has made it clear an official reveal is still some way off, progress is apparently being made behind the scenes: studio boss Swen Vincke says he now «figured out» the first act of Larian's new project.
