Baldur's Gate 3 Devs Dealing With Threats and Toxicity

The developers of space sim Star Citizen are now talking about the 1.0 launch being within sight, some 12 years after the game launched its first crowdfunding drive.

Last year was an extraordinary year in the games industry to say the least, jam-packed with hugely anticipated AAA releases including Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Hogwarts Legacy, Starfield, and Marvel's Spider-Man 2, as well as comparative sleeper hits like Baldur's Gate 3 and Alan Wake 2. This year, however, seems like it'll be comparatively quiet, and one prominent industry analyst is doubtful it'll be able to top the unprecedented games rush that was 2023 if it doesn't pull something out of the bag.

Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead has released a new patch that makes the game’s toughest enemies easier to deal with.

All things are not equal in the world of’s companions with some getting significantly more love than others. With 10 potential companions to recruit, it’s hardly surprising that some have had a little more attention and care put into them than others. Now, developer Arrowhead has addressed the backlash in particular, and signaled plans to change the game as a result.

While this is a nerve-wracking ordeal that will undoubtedly cause some tension, certain parts of the game break this to give players some room to breathe and have a laugh.

Helldivers 2 can be a tricky game at the best of times, with soldiers constantly fighting back against hordes of Automatons and Terminids bigger than buses. There are some enemies out there that strike fear into the hearts of Helldivers more than others though, and you'll struggle to find a more hated enemy than the Charger.

Playstack, the publisher of popular roguelike deckbuilder Balatro confirmed on Twitter that the game has been temporarily removed from some digital storefronts due to a sudden rating change. Apparently, the UK rating board PEGI changed the rating from 3+ to 18+ overnight due to “prominent gambling imagery” which prompted the sudden delistings. The problem here is that there is literally no gambling in Balatro.
