Backpack Hero now available for Switch, PC

The road to release has been an eventful one for The Day Before, and as developer Fntastic prepares to launch the game in Early Access, it's taken to Twitter with messages for both fans and non-fans of its survival MMO. 

YUKIKAZE, STUDIO WILDROSE, and Natsume Atari have announced Penny Blood: Hellbound, a roguelike companion game set in the world of the upcoming RPG Penny Blood. It will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam in February 2024, followed by a full release in the summer. A closed beta version featuring around 10 hours of gameplay will launch for Penny Blood backers via Backerkit on December 14.

Old Skull Games has announced Cryptical Path, a roguelite dungeon crawler in which players can carve out their own dungeon path through thousands of possibilities. It will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam in 2024.

The surprise horror hit of the earlier parts of 2023, Sons of the Forest was released to critical acclaim. While the hype died down rather quickly, the game did sell two million copies in its first 24 hours. And now, Endnight’s follow-up to The Forest will be coming out of early access soon.

Endnight Games have announced that Sons of the Forest, the sequel to 2014’s much beloved survival horror game, The Forest, will officially launch on February 22, 2024. 

The developer of hit open-world survival game Sons of the Forest has announced the game will be leaving early access early next year and getting additional content. 

Sons of the Forest is leaving early access. It will be getting its beefier version 1.0 release next year, on 22nd February.

Endnight Games has announced that Sons of the Forest, its sequel to the 2018 survival horror sandbox hit, will exit early access on February 22nd, 2024. In a new tweet, the developer revealed that Shawn Ashmore (who played Jack Joyce in Quantum Break) will voice Timmy LeBlanc, with his role in the game and overarching story expanding.

Sons of the Forest will officially leave Early Access and launch its v1.0 on February 22, 2024. Furthermore, X-Men and Quantum Break's Shawn Ashmore will be joining the cast to voice Timmy as the team works to "expand his role in the game and story."

I try to follow up any piece of bad news with something jolly, and what jollier a piece of news than the early access release of Wizordum, in which YOU'RE A WOZIRD, I mean a WIZORD(UM). It's a first-person spellcaster from Slovenia-based Emberheart Games, which takes hefty inspiration from Heretic, Hexen and Ultima Underworld, though it's far more colourful than I remember any of those games being. Cooperative platformer River Tails: Stronger Together will leave Early Access and launch for PC via Steam on December 14, publisher Gravity Game Arise and developer Kid Onion Studio announced. Console versions will follow at a later date.
