Arizona Sunshine II ‘Gameplay Showcase’, cross-platform co-op modes announced

is a remake/remaster of and built with the all-new Unreal Engine 5, which has enabled the team developing the game, Studio Wildcard, to develop cross-platform play and mods to the title. In addition to the new functionality, the new also has all-new graphics, a sorely needed upgrade from. That said, though the game was touted to have full cross-platform play and cross-progression enabled upon release for the Xbox X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, it's not totally clear whether the feature is currently available during its early access period.

LEGO Fortnite, a survival crafting experience within Epic Games’ Fortnite, is live on all platforms. After the cinematic trailer, some new gameplay debuted, showcasing what it’s like to run around, gather materials and flee from skeletons and angry wolves. Check it out below.

It's a real turn-up for the books for PSVR 2 owners, as Among Us VR has finally released on the PlayStation 5 headset.

There’s something inherently entertaining about bashing a zombie's brains in. We’ve enjoyed it in shows like The Walking Dead, and we’ve certainly enjoyed it in video games like World War Z, Days Gone, and even Sony classic The Last of Us. However, Arizona Sunshine 2 takes the prize for the most entertaining zombie brain-basher on the market — and it’s all thanks to the PSVR2.

Arizona Sunshine 2 picks up almost straight after the end of the first VR zombie shooter with our wisecracking but unnamed protagonist waking up to see a military chopper crashing nearby, thus setting off a quest to find Patient Zero and rather more importantly, find anyone else who may be alive. Between you and those objectives? Well, plenty of zombies to blast into oblivion, of course!

Go-Go Town will have a co-op mode, developer Prideful Sloth has confirmed. The studio has also announced that the co-op mode will feature an open playtest in 2024, February to be precise. If you want to take part in the Go-Go Town playtest then you can sign up through the official game website.

Well, PlayStation VR2 adventure-shooter Arizona Sunshine 2 answers these questions and more with over-the-top wit.

Meta Platforms is quietly starting to roll back the cross-platform chats feature it added to Facebook Messenger and Instagram that allowed users to send and receive messages from their contacts on the other platform. So, how will it affect users? As per the company, the ability for users to send a message to someone on Instagram while using Messenger or vice versa will be killed off by mid-December 2023. Alongside this, users of one platform will not be able to see the activity status of the users on the other platform in the message window.

NASA's OSIRIS-APEX spacecraft, formerly known as OSIRIS-REx, is actively preparing for a groundbreaking solar approach, bringing it closer to the Sun than ever before as it targets the asteroid Apophis. The spacecraft's closest approach, referred to as perihelion, is set for January 2, 2024, positioning OSIRIS-APEX approximately 46.5 million miles away from the Sun. This distance is roughly half the span between Earth and the Sun and well within the orbit of Venus. NASA has highlighted that this close encounter will subject the spacecraft's components to higher temperatures than originally designed.
