A new Collection Event is coming to Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends on July 25th. Available until August 8th, the Neon Network Collection Event ties into the story following the recent Kill Code: Part 1 cinematic. Players will control Loba in an “interactive introduction” and “breach a facility that may have started the interruption to her childhood.”
The newest Takeover during the Collection Event is Node Tracker, a device for locating different Compute Nodes. Upon finding them, hack in for loot and rewards redeemed from the new reward shop. Beware, as you’re vulnerable while hacking.
Compute Nodes are used to acquire items from the reward shop, like event skins and Neon Network Event Apex Packs. If you collect all the rewards, Nodes can be used for BP Stars to progress the Battle Pass. Daily Challenges also provide to earn a limited number of Compute Nodes.
New limited-time cosmetics available during the event include Legendary skins for Ash, Ballistic, Caustic, etc. Collect all 24, and you’ll unlock the Valkyrie Prestige skin, Apex Interceptor. Stay tuned for balance changes and other details before the event goes live.
