Android's Find My Device Network Is Finally Online, With a Catch

As part of a new partnership, Microsoft is working on a «limited-edition» VR headset capable of running Meta's new Meta Horizon operating system. This new joint effort will see Meta and Microsoft work together to create a limited-edition Meta Quest device inspired by Xbox, meaning gamers could soon have their own Xbox VR headset.

Helldivers 2 is an extremely popular game, far more than probably either Arrowhead or Sony hoped for. That said, it isn't perfect, and the developers are well aware of that.

Grounded, a survival game by Obsidian, has gotten its last new content patch with the Fully Yoked Update 1.4 and a release for PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. The Fully Yoked update includes bug fixes, balance changes, and quality of life revisions as well as new features. I have a rule: no more than one post about a horror game per day. The mind can only withstand so much, after all. But POOLS isn't really a horror game. It's just a walking simulator in which you explore a bunch of underground swimming pools. True, their size and layout defy explanation - what is this, a swimming pool for Slender Men? - but look, there are cute covered slides you can ride down in first-person. Xbox Game Pass users can now play Shadow of the Tomb Raider as part of their subscription. The critically acclaimed action adventure is the ninth title to reach Xbox Game Pass in April 2024, and the 50th since the turn of the year.

Brotato, an Xbox Game Pass indie game similar to Vampire Survivors, is getting local co-op as part of a free update coming later this year. Brotato first released on Steam last summer and has proven to be quite a hit on the platform. At the time of this writing, Brotato enjoys an «Overwhelmingly Positive» overall review rating on Steam, and it has enjoyed a similarly positive response on Xbox Game Pass as well.

Dicefolk, a highly rated creature collector roguelike, is coming soon to the Nintendo Switch, where it's looking to find a new audience after quickly racking up great reviews on Steam. Games that market themselves as new approaches to the Pokemon formula are starting to sprout up more and more as they seemingly try to replicate the success of Palworld from earlier this year.

Now that Android's Find My Device network is off the ground, Chipolo is launching a pair of AirTag-like tracking devices that are specially designed for wallets and bags. The Chipolo ONE Point and CARD Point arrive May 17th, just in time for summer vacation.
