Bethesda has already laid out their update schedule for Starfield in 2024, which includes updates every six weeks beginning in February. There's an update coming before that, however, and arriving on the Steam beta branch next week. It won't add major new features but includes "over 100 fixes and improvements".

Blizzard has announced that follower dungeons will launch with an initial 10 dungeon daily limit cap.

A demo for action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink will launch for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on January 12, publisher Cygames and developer Cygames Osaka announced. It is available now in regions where it is already January 12, such as New Zealand (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4).

Cult of the Lamb's huge Sins of the Flesh update, colloquially referred to as the 'sex update', has revealed a January 16 release date.

Cult of the Lamb Sins of the Flesh free update will be available from January 16th, Devolver Digital has confirmed. As you may guess from the name Sins of the Flesh brings offspring to the game, which can be created when two followers fall in love. This offspring can then be raised until it is ready to be inducted into the cult. The update will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Switch.

Despite already looking very good, Everspace 2 from Rockfish Games is moving to Unreal Engine 5. The engine upgrade will occur with the Spring Update, presumably before the second free major update, Incursions (launching in the same release window).

For fans of the Silent Hill franchise, there’s been a long gap between releases. It’s been a dormant IP for quite some time since Hideo Kojima split ways with Konami. But it was just a couple of years ago now that Konami unveiled that they were bringing Silent Hill back in a big way.
