A ransomware group claims to have breached ‘all Sony systems’

Trademark registrations filed at the end of September 2023 suggest the upcoming return of. An eccentric, Mii-centric social simulator originally released for the 3DS, is a truly unique game in its genre. However, despite its success, remained stagnant on the 3DS for its entire lifespan. There's never been word of a follow-up or port, but new information suggests that could be subject to change.

The Sega Saturn’s second controller design has become the stuff of legend over the course of the last 25 years. The original Saturn pad was a bit clunky, but wide, while the second offering was more streamlined – a bit like how the Sega Genesis had a chunkier pad to start, but later got a thinner design for the six-button pad. Each felt a bit different due to the shape of the pads and while the second Saturn pad was better-looking and in some ways more responsive, I always preferred the larger form factor of the first controller.

Video game concerts are some of my favourite things in the world. As reported by Bleeping Computer, Sony Interactive Entertainment sent a notification to around 6,800 former and current employees informing them that a cybersecurity breach had exposed their personal information. It is believed that the breach occurred on May 28 when an “unauthorized party exploited a zero-day vulnerability in the MOVEit Transfer platform.”

We live in an age of state-sponsored cyber warfare, one where conflicts have a parallel and intangible digital battlefield. The most obvious manifestation of this is propaganda, good old information warfare, with things like photos, videos and records being obtained and then framed and circulated online. The other side of it—concentrated cyber attacks on infrastructure, hacks of enemy equipment and forces, doomsday viruses like Stuxnet—the public never sees outside of vague news reports.
