A new Xbox development kit has reportedly been certified in South Korea.
As spotted by Xbox News for Koreans, the dev kit was today approved for use by South Korea’s National Radio Research Agency.
Manufactured in China and Vietnam, it carries the model number 2089. The Xbox Series X dev kit, which has the model number 1881, was certified by the agency five months before the console launched in November 2020.
Under the laws in Korea,
all electronic devices in Korea must be certified by the National Radio Research Agency that there is no risk of harming the radio wave environment.
