Fallout's grip has been extended beyond the gaming world alone for the first time ever thanks to the adaptation of the show on Amazon Prime. Watched by more than 65 million people in its first 16 days, there's no doubt the show has been a big hit. Its success has also been driving more people to the games. If TV and video games aren't enough forms of media to satisfy your Fallout needs, you can now pre-order a special edition vinyl OST which includes the music from the show.
The two-disc OST includes 21 tracks and has a runtime of well over an hour. Roughly the same length as the first episode of the show. Almost feature length, but there was a lot to cram in. Note too that this OST does not include the third-party music that was used from the show like I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire by The Ink Spots. It's simply the soundtrack specifically composed for the show by Ramin Djawadi.
The vinyls themselves are blue and yellow, in keeping with the color scheme of the show and the games from which it has been spun. The OST also includes artwork from the show and its cover uses an image of the moment Lucy leaves the vault. Leaving a vault or a cave and stepping out into the sun for the first time is an iconic moment in various Bethesda games and tends to signify the world opening up for the first time, just as it does for Lucy in the Fallout show.
The Fallout vinyl OST includes all of the original music composed for the Amazon show, so 21 tracks across its two discs. The discs are blue and yellow - so the same as the Fallout color scheme - and elements from the show have been captured for the soundtrack's cover and artwork.
You can pre-order the Fallout OST on Amazon for a shade under $30 through the link in the box above, but it'll be a while before you can throw it on your turntable and give it a listen in person. The vinyl won't be released until June 14, but hey, if you love the music featured in the show, you can secure your copy now and not have to worry about it again until it arrives. You can almost certainly listen to it elsewhere between now and then before getting the added bonus of owning it and listening to what it sounds like on vinyl roughly six weeks from now.
The only downside to the Fallout show is that there are only eight episodes of it, but it has already been confirmed there will be a second season. Still a long way off, but almost certainly guaranteed to be here before Fallout 5. Speaking of the games, despite the show's success, owning the games has never been cheaper. Fanatical currently has all seven of them in a single bundle for $24.99. Fallout 4's current-gen update is also live and if it hasn't been automatically applied, we've got a guide detailing where to find

is littered with settlements for the Sole Survivor to both liberate and protect and while some of them can be rather challenging, one of the most disappointingly simple just became a whole lot more interesting. After joining forces with Preston Garvey and the Minutemen, players will be sent all over the Commonwealth to help people in need as they attempt to reform society. Sunshine Tidings Co-Op, a fairly large settlement that's been overrun by Feral Ghouls, is a little disappointing given the dullness of the encounter, but a new mod aims to fix that.
