33 Immortals Closed Beta Starts May 24th, New Gameplay Revealed

Microsoft has announced the first wave of titles coming to Game Pass in May. It’s kicking things off early with Have A Nice Death, a 2D action rogue-like available today on console, PC and the cloud.

A Commandos: Origins closed beta is set to take place this summer, with fans of the real-time tactical series able to sign up to take part now.

Capcom has released the gameplay trailer for Akuma as players get ready for his return. The new gameplay trailer shows Akuma absolutely beating Ryu, and staking his claim on the title as the true Master of the Fist. You can feel the rage, and if you want to harness it you can too. Akuma, like other characters, can be your master in World Tour mode, and train you in Satsui no Hado.

Metaphor: ReFantazio has revealed a release date of October 11 and showcased more gameplay. Metaphor: ReFantazio is the next release from the creators of Persona that will take players through a medieval world. Set in the United Kingdom of Euchronia, a nation of three countries inhabited by eight tribes, the story of Metaphor: ReFantazio begins with chaos ensuing after the king is killed.

Given the reputation Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door continues to enjoy to this day, two decades on from its GameCube launch, the level of excitement surrounding the release of its upcoming Nintendo Switch remake isn’t surprising in the slightest. And as the RPG draws closer to launch, Nintendo is continuing to show more bits and pieces.

Electronic Arts has revealed more details about its upcoming Formula 1 racing sim, EA Sports F1 24, with a new trailer. F1 24, first announced in February, will arrive earlier than previous games in the series on May 31 across PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X. EA detailed the features coming to the game and confirmed that players will be able to compete as a driver of their choice from the 2024 F1 season in the Career mode for the first time.

EA Sports and Codemasters have released the first gameplay footage for F1 24, the next title in its long-running racing sim series. It showcases some stunning visuals and the legendary Max Verstappen himself. Check it out below.

Baldur’s Gate 3 won’t receive any paid expansions, and Larian isn’t keen on developing a sequel, but that doesn’t mean fans can’t look forward to more updates. Yesterday’s Indie World Showcase may have led to disappointment (yet again) for Hollow Knight fans, but the announcement of SteamWorld Heist 2 is still noteworthy. Thunderful’s sequel retains the turn-based tactical shooting of the original, but with a pirate setting, naval combat, free exploration and a new Job system to customize crewmate abilities in new ways.

The second closed beta test for Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link (which is the first chance for Android users to play the game) has been delayed from the end of April to the start of May.
