QUByte will release classic side-scrolling beat ’em up game Gourmet Warriors for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch as part of its QUByte Classics lineup on August 31, the company announced.
Gourmet Warriors first launched as Gourmet Sentai Barayarou for Super Famicom on September 29, 1995 in Japan. A re-release with a full English translation launched for Super Nintendo Entertainment System on April 15, 2019.

Microsoft will host the Xbox Digital Broadcast at Tokyo Game Show 2023 on September 21 at 2:00 a.m. PT / 5:00 a.m. ET / 18:00 JST, the company announced.
Microsoft is set to launch its abusive-voice reporting feature for Xbox consoles. Announced in July, it lets gamers submit inappropriate remarks heard while playing multiplayer titles. The system captures a 60-second clip saved to the console; you then have 24 hours to complete the report. The feature arrives this week in the September update for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. However, it’s initially limited to the “select English-language markets” of the US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

Publisher Kemco and developer SleepingMuseum will release a console version of horror adventure game Death Palette, the companies announced. It will launch digitally for unspecified platforms this winter. A demo will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2023, which will run from September 21 to 24 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
It’s impressive when someone manages to create a beloved game experience on their own; or at the very least with a small team.
