As those who’ve played it will tell you, Rollerdrome was one of 2022’s most refreshingly enjoyable releases, delivering a unique and adrenaline-fueled blend of rollerskating and third person shooting, and soon, the game will be opening the gates for more players to dive into its offerings. Microsoft has confirmed the remaining batch of games that will be joining the Xbox Game Pass library through the rest of October 2023, headlined by the Dead Space remake, F1 Manager 23, Like a Dragon: Ishin! and the big new release of Cities: Skylines 2.
Like a Dragon: Ishin! is out today, a modern remake of the PS3 period drama that featured the familiar Yakuza series cast of characters in a historical setting. “Take up the sword as Sakamoto Ryoma and venture to Kyoto to find your father’s killer, clear yourself of a framed murder, and restore your honor,” the blurb reads. Later this week will see F1 manager 2023 joining the collection on console, cloud and PC, but next week brings the big guns. Cities: Skylines 2 will launch day one with PC Game Pass on 24th October – the console release is delayed until next spring – before Dead Space remake is added on 26th October. Dead Space is joining by way of Game Pass Ultimate bundling in an EA Play membership, so Dead Space is also coming to EA Play on other platforms.
It’s a fantastic remake, and in our Dead space review, Nick said, “EA Motive have done incredible work with the Dead Space remake to bring a horror classic up to date, injecting true horror back into the genre alongside considered changes and expansions to the original story. It’s hands down one of the best remakes ever made, and it’s like playing Dead Space for the first time all over again.”
