Botany Manor, a relaxing puzzle and adventure game developed by Balloon Studios, is now available as a day one launch title for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, and the highly rated interactive story Kona is also making a return to the service. Set in an expansive estate in 1890’s Somerset, England, Botany Manor is an immersive sim that puts players in the role of Arabella Greene, a retired botanist who continues to dabble in her passion and research. Many players will enjoy spending several relaxing hours completing Arabella’s botany research, growing rare plants, and filling out her botanical record.
Botany Manor and Kona are just two of a long list of varied and interesting games coming to Xbox Game Pass in April. Already this month, subscribers have gained access to Ark: Survival Ascended, FI 23, Superhot: Mind Control Delete, and Turbo Golf Racing 1.0, and there are several more exciting titles slated to be added to the rotating library of games available through Xbox’s popular subscription service.
Besides Botany Manor and Kona, multiple day one games are coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2024. And those are just the day one launch titles; Xbox Game Pass regularly adds fresh games and removes old ones to make sure subscribers always have something new to try. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, the highest tier of the subscription service, offers a catalogue of more than 100 games to members, ranging from fun indies to high-budget AAA titles. Ultimate also includes an EA Play membership, giving subscribers access to those exclusive games, and also provides special Xbox Game Pass Perks that change regularly. In the past, members have received free expansion passes for games, a three-month subscription to Postmates, and even six months with Apple TV+.
People who don’t want to pay for Ultimate can always sign up for an Xbox Game Pass Core subscription, which allows gamers to enjoy online multiplayer and to avail themselves of a semi-fixed library of 25 console games for $9.99/month. It’s a good way to enjoy a fairly wide selection of titles for a relatively low price when compared to buying them separately.
