WWE 2K24 Deluxe and 40 Years of Wrestlemania Editions Detailed, Includes 3-Day Early Access

The WWE 2K franchise has spent the last couple of years finding its feet again after the disastrously received WWE 2K20, with last year’s WWE 2K23 being quite a solid effort in my estimation, even if it wasn’t quite the cohesive overall package I was hoping for. This year’s WWE 2K24 looks to build on that sturdy foundation with a wider array of new features than last year, including a new 2K Showcase celebrating WrestleMania’s 40th birthday, several new match types, gameplay updates like Super Finishers, and more (you can check out my full hands-on impressions here).

After countless delays, it seems Skull and Bones is actually launching for real in February, and to solidify that fact, Ubisoft has announced the details of the game’s open beta. Said beta will available on all platforms from February 8 to February 11. Crossplay will be enabled and your progression will carry over to the full game. Players will be able to explore the Red Isle hub and the coast of Africa and East Indies regions and your pirate Infamy will be capped at level 6. Skateboarding roguelite action game Helskate will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on February 15, developer Phantom Coast announced.

For some time now, fans of survival games have had their eye on Enshrouded, the new game from the makers of Portal Knights that’s a little bit Zelda, and more than a little bit Valheim. WWE 2K24, the next instalment in 2K's popular annual wrestling video game franchise, has officially been announced. The newest WWE 2K title will launch March 8, across PC (via Steam), PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X. Along with the release date, 2K also revealed the cover stars for the title. Cody Rhodes will feature on the front cover of the Standard Edition, while Women's Royal Rumble winners Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley will share the spotlight on the Deluxe Edition cover. WWE 2K24 also marks 40 years of WrestleMania and will be available in a special Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition, featuring iconic wrestlers from the event's history, including The Rock, The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, and more, on the cover.

WWE 2K24 is going to be released on March 8th, 2K Games has announced. With this announcement, the publisher has also confirmed that Cody Rhodes will be the cover star for the standard edition of the game, while Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley will be on the cover of the Deluxe Edition.
