The ScanWatch Nova can do tasks such as on-demand medical-grade electrocardiograms. It can do the scan and detect potential heart anomalies, such as atrial fibrillation, via two built-in electrodes. This feature delivers live ECG results within 30 seconds through a touch on the bezel, aiding in the identification of over two million signs of AFib since 2020.
The watch also continuously tracks day and night body temperature variations, aiding in the early detection of potential illnesses or health conditions. It uses TempTech24/7 module technology, integrating heat flux sensors and high-accuracy temperature sensors alongside heart rate and accelerometer input calibrations, providing more accurate body temperature variation assessments.
ScanWatch Nova can also provide on-demand blood oxygen (SpO2) measurements, as it monitors overnight breathing disturbances and average blood oxygen levels during sleep. This feature ensures adequate blood oxygenation, critical for muscle energy during physical activities, while highlighting potential concerns if SpO2 values fall below 90%.
Then it can also do your activity and fitness tracking. It tracks parameters such as steps, calories, elevation, and over 40 daily activities, ScanWatch Nova offers Fitness Level assessments, estimating VO2 Max, a measure of the heart and muscles’ oxygen-to-energy conversion capacity during physical exertion.
