ISRO on Saturday conducted its first test flight named Gaganyan TV-D1 mission. The test flight was successful and all the objectives were achieved. The test flight focused on various separation actions and how the crew model system will work during the actual mission. After a successful flight, ISRO chief S. The Test Vehicle carrying payloads related to the Gaganyaan human space flight programme fired again at 10 am on Saturday after ISRO engineers were able to fix the glitch.

An important phase in the Indian Space Research Organization's Gaganyaan mission came to fruition today, October 21, as the space agency successfully launched its test vehicle into space from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. The Gaganyaan mission test flight checks an important fail-safe mechanism to gauge whether the spacecraft can abort the mission mid-air and still safely bring back the crew or not.
