It’s pretty surprising that it’s been over a decade since the iconic comic series, The Adventures of Tintin, has appeared in games – the goofy characters, larger-than-life adventures, and adorable sidekick dog seem like they’d make for the ultimate all-ages adventure game. But this is a missed opportunity that developer Pendulo Studios plans on correcting with its upcoming video game adaptation of the classic story: Cigars of the Pharaoh, and from the hour I played so far, it’s incredibly impressive just how faithful and enjoyable that adaptation is shaping up to be. Whether it’s the cartoonish and colorful environments, creative puzzles, or memorable minigames, this is definitely one for adventure game fans to keep a close eye on.

Despite all the Pokémon news we got at last week's Pokémon Presents live stream, it seems Game Freak and The Pokémon Company had even more news on Scarlet and Violet's upcoming DLC. Through a new trailer that premiered at the Pokémon World Championships last weekend, we've learned that The Indigo Disk, part two of the DLC, will have returning favorites, brand-new moves, and a mysterious nineteenth Tera Type.

Game designer, sometime Gears of War frontman and nowadays, comic book author Cliff Bleszinski would very much like Epic to make another Jazz Jackrabbit. In case you're unfamiliar, or disgracefully young, Jazz Jackrabbit was a platform game for MS-DOS, published in 1994 - it was Bleszinski's first project as a designer for then-named Epic MegaGames. He worked on the game alongside coder Arjan Brussee, who would later found Guerrilla Games before moving to Visceral Studios and finally, reuniting with Bleszinski to launch Bosskey Productions, the ill-fated creator of the generally rather decent Lawbreakers. On the latest Patch 10.1.7 Fury Incarnate PTR build, the return of the Turbulent Timeways Timewalking event was datamined! Turbulent Timeways is a world event in which players have access to Timewalking dungeons and raids for 5 weeks, going through one expansion per week. In this week's PTR build, a new mount has been added to the Turbulent Timeways event! This mount requires you to obtain a buff by participating in the Turbulent Timeways event for 5 consecutive weeks.

The recent Pokemon Presents stream was a rather unremarkable, as many had predicted it would be, but The Pokemon Company did close it with an extended look at the ucoming two-part expansion for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, The Hidden Area of Treasure Zero.
