Popular streamer JustFoxii, with over 592K followers on the Amazon-owned streaming platform Twitch, recently provided a significant update to her audience regarding the unsettling incident where a viewer deliberately set her car ablaze back in 2023. Twitch personality disclosed that the perpetrator has been apprehended and subsequently sentenced to a 46-month prison term.
Over the years, numerous cases of streamers being stalked have been reported, and JustFoxii found herself in a similar situation last year, experiencing a harrowing ordeal when a viewer targeted her directly. While she was on vacation, her mother called to report that her car was on fire. Surveillance footage captured the perpetrator casually approaching the vehicle, placing a large metal pot on the hood, and igniting its contents before calmly leaving. Fortunately, firefighters swiftly intervened, preventing further damage to JustFoxii's property and ensuring the safety of her mother who was inside the house. The perpetrator was arrested, revealing that he had traveled 700 miles to commit the crime.
Recently, JustFoxii shared a video updating her fans about the viewer who set the streamer's car on fire. Addressing misconceptions head-on, JustFoxii refuted claims of any personal relationship with the perpetrator, clarifying that their only interaction occurred in her Twitch chat. Delving deeper into the perpetrator's motives, JustFoxii revealed disturbing details about his actions and mindset. From renting an Airbnb in close proximity to her residence to documenting the arson through the trees, his calculated moves suggest a chilling disregard for consequences and a disturbing enjoyment of destruction.
JustFoxii further revealed that the perpetrator was apprehended while hiding in a car, his clothing stained with residue matching the thermite used in the arson. She also addressed claims made by the perpetrator's attorney, denying any scamming on her part, and emphasizing that she never solicited money from him. Following a federal trial, the perpetrator was sentenced to 46 months in prison. JustFoxii expressed relief at his incarceration, stating it allowed her to finally feel safe and begin moving on from the ordeal.
JustFoxii isn't the only female streamer to have faced such situations. Last year, prominent streamer Amouranth dealt with a similar scenario when her long-time stalker resurfaced, causing concern for her safety. While Amouranth's stalker was also apprehended, she expressed doubt regarding the longevity of his incarceration.
Additionally, popular Twitch streamer Jinnytty also had a disturbing encounter last year when a stalker followed her while she was traveling in Taiwan. These incidents underscore the need for increased
