If today's game was too easy for you, perhaps try something a little more challenging. is a copycat that forces players to solve four different five-letter words at the same time. Sharing hints and attempts between four puzzles can be a very difficult, but ultimately rewarding, experience.
Before moving on to the fully spoiled answers we wanted to provide a few hints in the form of today's categories.
TAKE A TUMBLE
KINDS OF WATER
THINGS THAT ARE CINCHED IN THE MIDDLE
___ BEAR
TAKE A TUMBLE
FALL
SLIP
TRIP
SPILL
Overall, we lost today's because sometimes it's just easy to get caught up in incorrect pairings. We did however score the yellow category before wasting away all our attempts. SPILL and SLIP led the charge on today's tumbling category, followed by FALL and TRIP. It's always easy to look back at a failure and realize where you could have adjusted.
KINDS OF WATER
MINERAL
SPRING
STILL
TAP
SPRING tricked us into matching with the previous category's FALL as possible seasons. Then we leaned hard into STILL and SPILL because they rhymed, I guess. I'm not sure where we were going with that. Either way, we did end up scoring today's green category, but it was our last win of the day. We just ended up spending too many guesses on fruitless attempts. TAP and MINERAL ended up breaking us away and helped us see the rest of the watery words.
THINGS THAT ARE CINCHED IN THE MIDDLE
CORSET
DIABOLO
HOURGLASS
WASP
When I was a kid I wanted a DIABOLO so bad, I also had no idea they were called DIABOLOs. I can't recall the exact place I saw it, but I remember a video of someone using one and making it flip and jump off of the string, I was enamored immediately. I never did get one, but one year my parents got my devil sticks. I played with those things intensely for a week and then never touched them again. Kids are dumb.
___ BEAR
BOO-BOO
HONEY
BROWN
TEDDY
Hey BOO-BOO, let's go get a pic-a-nic basket! We never stood a chance at scoring this one as other words took our attention. We did, however, spend a bit too long staring at HONEY and BOO-BOO trying to make that work in the context of other words. really was the center of the world for a while in the 2010s. There's something truly wrong with us as a society sometimes.
