The weekend is finally here, let's all wake up late, make some coffee, and sit down to solve today's . As an avid puzzle-fan, our list of browser-based one-a-day games is massive. We play the movie guessing game, the incredibly tough, of course,,,,,, and twelve others. There are some days we wake up, begin our puzzles, and the next thing we know it's 11 pm. Our relationships and work may be suffering, but our souls are quenched.
If today's is giving you trouble though, we are here to help. Below you will find a light hint in the form of today's categories and the fully revealed answers are further down. No matter where you're at in your puzzle journey, we're here to help keep your win streak alive.
Before fully spoiling today's answers we wanted to provide a little hint in the form of the daily selection of categories. These are in order of most straightforward to trickiest, based on the game's information page.
BREATHES HEAVILY
PRESERVES, AS MEAT
PREDICAMENTS
THINGS IN “MY FAVORITE THINGS”
BREATHES HEAVILY
GASPS
HUFFS
PUFFS
PANTS
As a big guy, HUFFS and PUFFS were clear outliers here and got us started quickly in the yellow category. Despite PANTS trying to trick us into some sort of clothing category, we ended up scoring this one right away. A great start to a win.
PRESERVES, AS MEAT
CANS
CURES
SALTS
SMOKES
Mmmm Meat! CURES and SMOKES were the start of today's green category for us. CANS, JAMS, and PICKLES created a little confusion as originally we expected this to be a generic 'Preserve Food' category. Once we were able to let that go, SALTS came into play and it was another quick score.
PREDICAMENTS
BINDS
JAMS
SPOTS
PICKLES
The blue category was filled with words that confused us on other colors today. We refused to let go of the idea of 'Jar Preserving' with PICKLES and JAMS. This definitely caused us to waste a few attempts, but didn't make us lose the game overall.
SPOTS was a tough word to reconcile as well. «In a SPOT» makes sense, as does «in a PICKLE» or «in a JAM,» but the word SPOTS on its own just doesn't make us think 'Predicament' like the others do. I suppose that's the point of the game though and I'm nit-picking a win for no reason.
THINGS IN “MY FAVORITE THINGS”
KETTLES
MITTENS
RAINDROPS
WHISKERS
RAINDROPS and roses and WHISKERS on kittens, These are a few of my favorite things! These were actually our leftover words for today as we did not at all remember 'bright copper KETTLES' being a favorite thing. Why would a KETTLE be someone's favorite thing? I like tea as much as the next guy, but to call the vessel for making it «My Favorite Thing»? Oscar Hammerstein is a weird dude.
Before you run off with your big win, take a second and check out these other
