The Witcher Season 3 Episode 9 Release Date: Is There a Part 3 on Netflix?

The has been set for Hulu’s popular Canadian Letterkenny spin-off series led by Jared Keeso.

No one really knows what's going on with Wonder Woman 3, and it has the DC community in turmoil.

Gal Gadot is apparently returning for Wonder Woman 3, which is set to be part of the new DCU – and it's fair to say that everyone is confused by the move. 

One of the most common criticisms of The Witcher on Netflix is that it strays too far from Andrzej Sapkowski's novels. It may have been a source of some tension behind the scenes, too: Former series star Henry Cavill made a point of saying he «pushed really, really hard» to stay true to the books, while also claiming that some of the writers on the show «actively disliked» them. There's no question that some aspects of the novel have been simplified for the TV show, and in an interview with Polish site Wyborcza (translated by Witcher fan site Redanian Intelligence), executive producer Tomek Baginski explained why some of those changes were made: "[A] higher level of nuance and complexity will have a smaller range."

Henry Cavill’s final scenes as Geralt of Rivia have now aired as part of the release of The Witcher season 3 volume 2. In them, we see Cavill’s monster hunter walking off into the distance with Jaskier (Joey Batey) and Milva (Meng'er Zhang) as they begin their trek to find Ciri.

Fans of The Witcher knew going into season 3 that it was going to be Henry Cavill’s last. But until the final episodes dropped on Friday, no one knew exactly what his departure would look like. Would it be acknowledged in the show with some face magic? Would Liam Hemsworth as Geralt make an appearance in season 3?

With the exit of one Witcher actor comes the entrance of another and fans are desperate to get a first look at Liam Hemsworth as Geralt in season 4. While, at the time of writing, there hasn’t been any official reveal of Hemsworth in costume, fans have taken matters into their own hands with deepfakes and concept art.

The Witcher season 3 volume 2 marks the end of the road for Henry Cavill’s Geralt ahead of his imminent replacement with Liam Hemsworth. Since the news was announced last year, the actor has never explicitly said why he was leaving the show. 

A big calendar shuffle at Sony has delayed several major movie release dates significantly, including the new Marvel universe movie Kraven the Hunter and the Ghostbusters: Afterlife sequel.

Having had even more time to think about it and (like a Christopher Nolan protagonist) do a considerable amount of science on the subject, it pains me to say that part 1 of The Witcher season 3 was in fact Pretty Lousy. This isn’t all that different from what I thought at the time. I’m just even more sure of it now, as the final three episodes arrive on Netflix — which are actually a lot of fun! They don’t magically make season 3 any better, and in fact, might even highlight its shortcomings even further. But it’s got a ton of wizards shooting lasers at each other and some cool sword fights, and that’s not nothing.
