The entire Fallout series has seen an increase in player counts, after the success of the Amazon TV adaptation. While Fallout games such as New Vegas and 4 have naturally seen a steady increase, even older titles such as Tactics have seen an influx of returning players.
When the Fallout TV series was first announced, gamers approached the idea with caution. As a franchise with a very specific tone and in-depth lore, it would be extremely difficult for a TV adaptation to fully capture everything that made the games great. However, reviews for the show were stellar, and fans were largely happy with the adaptation, minus a couple of timeline complaints from hardcore fans. Even Fallout's creator Tim Cain praised the show, with strong compliments for its visual design and ability to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
In a series of Steam charts posted by Redditor Valuable-Garbage, it's clear that just about every title in the Fallout series has seen an increase in players. This includes older titles such as Fallout Tactics, although its increase isn't as prominent as games such as New Vegas and Fallout 4. It was already clear from the early numbers that Fallout 76 is blowing up on Xbox. However, it seems that this trend is continuing on the PC versions of the games.
