There’s no better time to stock up on games and gaming accessories than Black Friday, and this year, we’re seeing sizable discounts on some of the biggest titles released this year — a year, need I remind you, that’s been inundated with many excellent games.
While not all of this year’s biggest games are getting significant discounts, titles like Final Fantasy XVI and the Resident Evil 4 remake are. And when it comes to slightly older games, many, like Doom Eternal, can be had for a pittance, making this a great time to stock up on the releases you might have missed months or even years ago.
As for gaming accessories and peripherals, Black Friday and Cyber Monday always present a cornucopia of worthwhile discounts on things like controllers, headsets, and even consoles. So be sure to check out all that’s on offer and heavily discounted here, as these deals will be just what the doctor ordered when we get to the inevitable drought of games in the new year and you feel the biggest need to play something new.

Video games, like other art forms, allow you to revel in escapism. But only video games can give you the keys to your dream ride without making you sign for it, then let you tear it around the world’s most scenic raceways. Heck, you can mercilessly cake your ride in mud on challenging rally courses, too.

Black Friday may have been and gone, dear readers, but the deals still continue with the dawn of Cyber Monday. This will be the last day of the Black Friday extravaganza, so make sure you get those purchases in before midnight if you still want to take advantage of any offers. And to help you navigate the trauma of endlessly navigating several different price-checking sites to bring you the best Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, I'm back for one last day of liveblog duties. Hardware editor James will also be updating our dedicated Cyber Monday deals pages with lots more of the best deals if you're looking for something more specific.
RTX 4080 gaming laptops entered the marketplace at around the $2,399.99 mark, reaching all the way up to $2,699.99 on some occasions. Eluktronics’ Prometheus XVI G2 was not easy on the wallet either, reaching an eye-watering price of $2,499.99 on Amazon. Fortunately, these Black Friday 2023 deals are a godsend because now, the exact same machine with its dedicated external liquid cooler is available for $1,949.99. Granted, that is still a decent chunk of change, but compared to what these models were available for before, we have to say that these are insanely attractive offers.
