Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants is Out Now on PC and Consoles

Fortnite is the highest-grossing game in the first quarter of 2024, according to a report published by Newzoo. The year 2024 for the games industry has been marked by events such as layoffs, Gearbox Software's acquisition by Take-Two Interactive, and the farewell to Nintendo 3DS and Wii U online services. Meanwhile, new releases like Palworld and Helldivers 2 hit the shelves, sharing space with popular releases like Fortnite and Valorant.

Research firm Newzoo has revealed what it claims were the top-grossing console and PC games in the first quarter of 2024.

After launching on Nintendo Switch last year, Forever Entertainment’s Front Mission 2: Remake is now available on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. While it’s a remake of the 1997 classic, it also marks the first time worldwide audiences can experience the tactical RPG. Check out the launch trailer below.

I don’t mean to suggest that, instead of the beloved heroes in a half-shell, this 2D side-scrolling beat ‘em up stars a squad of teenage mutant wooden horses. Rather, Wrath of the Mutants has used a cunning disguise to sneak past the discerning gamer’s ‘bad game’ sonar, just as the Greeks cunningly snuck into Troy all those centuries ago. This console release rides on the coattails of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, but while the two games share many similarities, Wrath of the Mutants pales in comparison.

Against The Storm's latest update adds a a River Kelpie, a "legendary water demon" that can mesmerise villagers in your rain-slick settlements. I've been mesmerised myself by another part of the update, however: the ability to zoom out 66% further than before.

Rabbit and Bear Studios’ Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, a spiritual successor to the Suikoden series, is now available.
