Starfield's name-remembering robot buddy can't do 'Glenn' or 'Greg,' but it will call you 'Captain Assface'

There are a ton of things for you to do in Starfield, most of which don’t have much to do with the story. In the spirit of creating your adventure, Bethesda Softworks has made the game as immersive as possible, and this by letting you do most things you can think of…well most things. Much like Skyrim or even the older Morrowind, you can do some whacky and downright funny things such as putting a bucket on an NPC. However, the following is a little more intense and more brutal. The best part is that you might not get in trouble for it. The following PSA is that there is a way to knock out and kill NPCs in Starfield with a box — legally speaking. Reddit user WeirdConcern4666 made history on this front yesterday. Here's how you do it: 1) get up from the cockpit controls, 2) hit the tilde key to open the command console at the bottom of the screen, 3) type "player.setpos x 10" to teleport your character outside the ship, then hit return and 4) type "setgravityscale 0" to engage zero gravity and stop your character plummeting endlessly. Then hit the tilde key again to close the command console, and well, there you go.

Starfield, like most of Bethesda's RPG offerings, has a fairly deep romance romance system that lets you bed and ride off into the sunset with one of four different companions you can meet along your journey. There are a wide variety of benefits that having a loving partner accompany you across the Settled Systems brings, but one of the best is a pretty big XP buff that you can only get by bumping uglies with your significant other.

It turns out you can pinch one of Starfield's better suits without picking locks. Not only that, you can actually get it quite near the start of the game.

Starfield is a massive game that’s hiding a massive amount of content and tiny, little details beneath its sprawling surface, something that Bethesda Game Studios’ titles always have a knack for doing. And given how vast the game is, it’s safe to say that players are going to be discovering new things both big and small within the space-faring RPG for some time to come.
