Star Wars: The Old Republic's next update adds pie-baking and a galactic egg hunt

Bethesda has confirmed that a new Fallout 4 update is coming on Monday, May 13. After a long wait, Bethesda finally released the big Fallout 4 next-gen update last month. The update brought native versions of Fallout 4 to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles while making some sweeping changes to the game. These changes included improved graphics and performance, as well as some Creation Club content.

Xbox president Sarah Bond has confirmed that the company will continue to launch its first-party games, including Activision titles like Call of Duty, on Game Pass. This news comes in the midst of a period of uncertainty over the subscription service, as recent reports claimed that Microsoft was internally debating whether new Call of Duty titles should be launched on Xbox Game Pass.

Microsoft's decision to close several development studios, such as Tango Gameworks, Arkane Austin, and more, has generally been met with a big thumbs-down online. Tango was responsible for break-out hit Hi-Fi Rush in 2023, a game considered one of the best on Xbox in recent years, and went on to win a BAFTA for Animation.

The event will feature an upcoming lineup of games from Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda and Xbox Game Studios, along with third-party titles on Xbox.

Microsoft's Xbox summer showcase in June will reportedly include a hefty post-show segment on the next and currently untitled Call Of Duty, alongside release dates for such first-party headliners as Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Avowed and Indiana Jones And The Great Circle. That, however, is going to change at the company’s summer showcase in June, as per a report published by The Verge.

Microsoft has announced that the Xbox Games Showcase will be returning on June 9, and given the many first-party titles the company has in the pipeline for 2024, it seems safe to assume that it’s going to be a packed show. In fact, according to The Verge, multiple upcoming first-party games are going to get official release date announcements.
