Today, Stardock and Ironclad Games have announced that Sins of a Solar Empire II will finally arrive on Steam this Summer after launching in early access Technical Preview around a year and a half ago on the Epic Games Store.

The Advent Unity race returns in Sins of a Solar Empire II with two sub-factions that take advantage of new items, mechanics, and the unique "Unity" Empire system.
Orbiting planets that dynamically change the map during gameplay, forcing players to gradually shift their strategies as new challenges and opportunities arise.
Enhanced tactical battles and deeper combat simulation with tracking turrets and missiles that can be blocked by ships or shot down.
Minor factions that provide unique abilities to players who befriend them through a new influence system.
New economic model that allows players to truly customize their worlds to meet their production needs.
Capital ships that can be equipped with special upgrades to make them more effective in battle.
New in-game mod browser for easy installation of mods and maps.
Online play featuring up to 10-player multiplayer matches. Players can now seamlessly join or resume games, and an in-game mod workshop automatically keeps in sync with any enabled mod content.
